Robyn, whose real name is Robin Miriam Carlsson, is a Swedish pop singer-songwriter, DJ, and record producer. "Do You Know (What It Takes)" and "Show Me Love" were two of the top 10 songs from Robyn's 1995 debut album, Robyn Is Here. My Truth (1999) and Don't Stop the Music (2002), her second and third albums, were made available in Sweden.

With the release of her fourth album, Robyn (2005), which received a Grammy Award nomination, Robyn had a comeback to global success. The singles "Be Mine!" and the UK number one "With Every Heartbeat" were taken from the album. The Body Talk series, three mini-albums by Robyn, was released in 2010. They produced three top-10 songs, "Dancing On My Own," "Hang with Me," and "Indestructible," and they were nominated for three Grammy Awards.

They also gained widespread critical acclaim. Following this, Robyn released two EPs in collaboration with other artists: Love Is Free (2015) and Do It Again (2014) with Röyksopp. 2018 saw the release of her eighth studio album, Honey, to critical acclaim.
